This week’s Psalms journey, brought various thoughts and questions to mind.
Psalm 123:1-3: It brought some deep questions to mind. When others maliciously talk about you, to whom do you turn? How do you handle such mistreatment by others?
Psalm 124:6-8: When it seems you are surrounded by your enemies, who is your support?
Psalm 125:1: Those that do not trust in the Lord may see your trusting Him as a weakness but He sees it as a strength.
Psalm 126:1-3, 5&6: Remember how much brighter and newer life seemed and how refreshed you felt when you first received the Lord’s salvation? What a motivator that is to share such a wonderful experience with others!
Psalm 127:1: There is no firmer nor more secure foundation for life, relationships, businesses, etc. than the Lord.
Psalm 128:1-6: Spiritual and physical blessings come to those (including nations) who fear the Lord.
Psalm 129: Here I saw facts (vv. 1, 2a and 3) versus the Truth (vv. 2b, 4, 5, 6, and 7). The Truth wins every time.
